We’ll be spending the week of our wedding at Balinakill Country House in Clachan, Scotland. The house will serve as our home base throughout the celebrations, with several wedding events taking place on the property during the weekend of July 24th–26th, 2026.
Guests staying at the house are, of course, welcome to enjoy the full week with us.

The easiest way to reach Balinakill is by car. Rental cars are readily available at Glasgow Airport. Balinakill is located in Clachan, near Tarbert, approximately a 2.5-hour drive from the airport, with beautiful scenic views along the way.
We have ample on-site parking available. The nearest EV charging points are at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal (5 miles) and in the village of Tarbert (10 miles). Fuel is available in Clachan and in Lochgilphead.

The Citylink 926 coach operates between Glasgow (Buchanan Bus Station) and Campbeltown multiple times daily during the summer months. Services stop in Clachan, conveniently located near the bottom of the Balinakill driveway.

The nearest airports are Glasgow Airport and Campbeltown Airport.
CalMac ferry services to nearby islands including Islay, Gigha, and Arran are a short drive away. The Tarbert to Portavadie ferry also provides a convenient connection between Kintyre and the Cowal peninsula.
